We use a LOT of these snow stakes. We mark our foot trails, ATV trails, and use them as markers for trees we plant. Love 'em!!!!

I choose the 5 foot for ease of seeing from my truck. They go in the ground easily and last well.

Yes you can hold each end and bend them in half, but when a car hits one, it will crack and shatter. No different than any other fiberglass stake. Also, the caps come off inside the Snow Stake Install Tool they sell. The install Tool needs modification so the cap does not catch on the inside lip of the tool, which pulls the cap off. It would be better not the have caps or glue them on better. Nothing really wrong with this product, I buy more every year because they break where inserted into the ground, just like every other brand, still better than using wood.
